PetroBlast was engineered to improve the way maintenance and operations personnel clean equipment and unit areas in a refinery. PetroBlast can drastically reduce the time needed to clean tools, concrete, motors, pumps, bases, and other surfaces by making quick work of heavy hydrocarbon foulants. 

PetroBlast dissolves oil-based contaminants in minutes and allows surfaces to be rinsed clean with water. Very little mechanical cleaning or scrubbing is necessary, and water usage is greatly reduced due to PetroBlast’s highly concentrated and fast-acting formula. 

PetroBlast has been extensively field-tested in refineries and petrochemical plants and does not contaminate refinery products. The blend of terpene and surfactants are easy to re-process, and the terpene hydrocarbons are considered excellent feedstock for most refining processes. 

PetroBlast is also safe for workers, has a neutral pH, does not contain chelating agents or phosphates, is non-corrosive, and exhibits excellent compatibility with all metals.
